Std akl kidani requests UPDATE GREAT FRONT DESK SERVICE

Any pointers on what to request for a std at kidani. We've always stayed savannah near the zazu elevator. We like that area for savannah but will it be good for standard?

The standard views running from the lobby toward the Zazu elevator end a full building unit before you get to that elevator. The standards in that south wing have a view mainly of road or bus stop. Nevertheless if you want to be close to the lobby or close to the bus stop on that side you can request either close to the Timon elevator or close to community hall. If you want a better view (of the the pool area and potentially to the right from the balcony a view in the distance of the southern end of the Pembe savanna) and have the shortest walk to the pool, request close to the Rafiki elevator. If you you want a standard view room that was converted from savanna view and has a Pembe savanna view, but don't mind walking a long way to the lobby on the north wing, request a room close to the Pumba elevator or close to a standard view GV ( those are essentially the same request).

My last standard view was close to the pool. We enjoyed it very much. The walk to the lobby was no big deal, sitting on the balcony was quiet and being that close to the pool complex worked out great for our non park days.

Checked in yesterday. Scored a redesignated savannah view standard room. Lots of animals outside. On second floor, which we love. They also did an allergy clean of room for my Dd. Changed curtains, throw pillows, seat cushions, pillows, cleaned rugs, scrubbed all surfaces. Couch is new too. Amazing room, amazing service. Love my home resort. Thank you to Serena at the front desk.

Also wanted to report that bedspread was gone. New headscarf with lovely white, African inspired top sheet . Clean and cozy.

That's great! we had a similar view when we were there in November! We loved it!
