Staying value but upgraded to reg. Dining plan

I was just curious how many staying value didn't want the quick service but upgraded to reg. dining plan.

We are staying value, and upgraded to regular dining plan.

We were going to but then I ran some numbers and found that it's actually just a tad cheaper for us to buy our TS meals (we only wanted 4-5 of them) over buying more counter services, our snacks and drink mugs. We never have done the QS plan, and want to try it as well....but still we like a sit down meal when we're at the parks so we're forced to take a break in a nice cool restaurant.

We realized once we started planning our meals, that in past years we were just choosing places because we had those TS credits....places that really, we wouldn't eat at if we had to pay for it....so again, we'll try the QS this year and see how it goes.

Assuming that the FD really does come out tomorrow, and I'm able to get Pop, we'll be upgrading.

We are staying value, and upgraded to regular dining plan.

We did the same thing because the regular dining plan was a better fit for our schedule and budget. We have no interest in character or 2 credit meals and our TA booked the ressies. However, if it had meant me spending time on the phone booking them, we would have kept the QS plan.

I believe it's $10 a person per night.

Difference is $10 an adult a night and $2 a child a night.

Yes, call back and have them apply free dining to your reservation.

I did this. Only saved $185 dollars because we were already booked with a 40% off room pin but hey it pays for a few more souveniers. Going with a 2,3,and 4 year old and staying at POP. Loved it there 2 years ago. Best bus service of anywhere we've ever stayed. (Way better than the villas at WL!)

We had a room at POP with a pin code already. We now have the free dining and upgraded to the regular dining plan and it saved us $137. I'm soooo happy. I think I can finally sleep at night again and stop worrying about trying to get us a better deal and wishing for a better pin code.
