Will be there May 21-27...was hoping for ROL...but of course we all know what happened there. Some hope for soft openings for FEE or Soarin (probably not now that they both open in mid-June). Was excited to see nighttime AK offerings starting (but start memorial day weekend when we head home). On the bright side I am getting my Star Wars Fireworks (even though it won't be the new ones still excited for it :cool1:)

Plus this will be DH's first time there so everything will be new to him and it's been a while for myself so still a few new things for me. Plus will be in freakin Disneyworld!!!!!! :dancer:

So all in all is going to be an amazing time and can just catch everything new next time around.

May 5 - 8 here and disappointed everything at AK has been postponed. Probably won't be back to the parks for years and years. This is our last trip on our APs and we are not renewing.

Us too but you know anytime at Disney is a great time!!! We are there the 21-26. I did go ahead and book the Star Wars fireworks dessert party. It's my daughter's graduation trip so hopefully we can just schedule more special things and then we will just have to go back sometime when she is in college to experience the new stuff.

We are going the week before you, OP. While I was hoping for RoL/nighttime activities at DAK to be live by the time we go, what I really wanted was to be able to see at least SOME kind of Star Wars nighttime show - which we will now get to see. Other than that, I am VERY excited about Flower & Garden and spending a whole day leisurely exploring World Showcase and the outdoor kitchens.

Last time we went, we justmissed 7DMT opening. After this trip, we won't be going back to the World until Magic Kingdom's 50th birthday (but we will be doing DLR in 3 years).

I totally forgot about the Epcot Flower and Garden Show!!...add that to the list! lol. I also was very very happy to see they extended the Star Wars fireworks...that was a big win for me!

May 6-10th for me and nothing new to see. I was hoping for at least an extension of the current Star Wars fireworks into May. I can't look at the May park hours right now so maybe they are being updated?!? I am excited about Flower and Garden though.

I will be there May 8-13. I am disappointed about ROL. Other than that, I am focusing on low crowds. IF everything debuted on time it would have been a nightmare at those new attractions. I figure by them time I get to see it all in 2017, some of the new will have worn off. Hopefully!

I thought the same thing....when I saw the nighttime stuff was Memorial Day weekend at first was disappointed cause we were so close to it! Then thought...it's gonna be a madhouse that weekend...better we did miss it lol

Our dates are May 17 - 25, and we were really looking forward to all the new things also. I did just read that 30 shops and restaurants are opening at DS within the month, so there's that. Luckily our DS who is graduating college in December, chose DW for his celebration trip, so we'll see the new attractions then.

There is always going to be something new that you miss.

I went in August of 2015 .. and I am sad I missed all the Star Wars Launch Bay and fireworks stuff at DHS.

I go in with the attitude that I can't do it all and gives me something to look forward to on the NEXT trip. You'll have a great time!

That being said .. a trip later this year looks to be packed with a lot of new stuff. Not a new land yet, but several new and updated attractions!

I was really hoping for a soft open of FEE before Silver Passport Blackout ... now I'm going to have to start trolling the App when it's 30 days out and hope that all the FP+ aren't already booked up by resort guests who have a 60 day window

We will be there May 23-29. I am also disappointed that we will miss the new stuff, but then I remember I am bringing my 15 year old cousin for his first trip ever! It will all be new to him. He isn't going to care what he missed. It is possible we could catch the new AK nighttime stuff on the 28th (Saturday). Not sure if it is opening Saturday or Monday right now, but I'm thinking I will just keep this day my Epcot day. If everyone heads to AK we will have a wonderful day without as many crowds and the flower and garden festival.

We'll be there June 3-13 and will miss most of the new stuff too. The one bright side for us is AK opening in the evenings, so at least we can experience those nighttime attractions. We are traveling with my sister's family, and it will be their very first trip, so everything is "new" for them. It may be a very long time until we can travel to Florida again (it's been 5 years since our first trip!), but I suppose that just means there will be lots more to look forward to in the future!

This is the time we are going as well (may 20-26). I'm hoping that maybe they will have a soft opening for the frozen ride in Epcot while we are there. Other than that, it made it less stressful trying to decide between a Sorin or Test track FP! :)

Disappointed as well. We had planned on doing a full 7 days of Disney but with delay after delay we decided to spend our last two days at Universal. Though we said last year was the last, with DS entering Kindergarten next year this very likely is our last for awhile. I'm not ready for school-break crowds yet!
