Staying Outside WDS/Transportation in Parks?

Help please! Have never stayed off-site before. I know this sounds like a no-brainer but hopefully you'll still answer! We're staying off-site (Vistana Resort), if we purchase Park Hopper Tickets, will we still be able to park hop and use Disney transportation to go from park to park and also to eat at some of the resort? Thanks for all your help!
