Staying outside a few days before check in

I'm sure some of you do this. I posted on the Orlando board but did not get a response.
We want to arrive 2 days early (8/14) and stay a couple days outside and go to Sea World. We need a Queensize bed for us. The kids are 14 and 9 (DS and DD) Dh is 6'5". Something clean and not expensive.
Any experiences?

I've done it on price line. I usually pay $25-$45 and select a min of 4 stars. Have gotten some great rooms.

Another Priceline user here. Look over at www.biddingfortravel.com for guidance on using Priceline. One caution, once you bid and they accept, you're committed.

Also, query the Budget Board or try Mousesavers.com for off-site hotel advice.

My problem is the need for queen bed verses doubles due to my DH height. He is not a fussy guy.
