Staying onsite but booking hotel and tickets separate.

I'm hoping someone can help me out.
We're going to Disney in April 2015 (first trip). My daughter is going with the school band, and we're taking our youngest two daughters as well.
So oldest will be staying off Disney with the band, my husband and our youngest two will be staying on site.

My question is this..
We're booking our hotel room separate from our park tickets because we get a great price for tickets through the band.
Is there still a way for me to add a dining plan and memory maker since we're purchasing tickets not as a package?

Memory maker. Yes. That does not require a package. Dining may or may not require a package. As of today it does not (but you have to call WDW, you can't book it over the phone). It is a test though, so no one knows how long it will last.
