Staying one night on points before we fly out

I will be using my holding points for one night - haven't booked yet but have checked availability. (I am staying for about 5 days in Ft. Myers previous to this. ) I'll be flying out in the evening of checkout. Would you recommend:

a) having dining plan?

b) driving back to the airport - I might be staying at SSR or OKW ( I could keep my car one more night)

We always have a rental car and return it to the airport when we are heading back home. I like the flexibility of having one.

I personally don't think I would do the dining plan for a one night stay. I would feel too restricted, and would probably prefer to be able to decide on meals that day, rather than getting tied down to dinner ressies with only the one night. JMHO.
