staying on site at universal

we are staying at the cbr at wdw in august, we will be doing universal studios and seaworld for 3 days, as we are not driving we will be relying on taxis, i have looked into staying at an onsite hotel at universal studios, this allows us front of line access to the rides. my dh is worried that wdw world will not allow us to stay off site, but as we have already paid for the room at cbr i can't see why not. any replies appreiciated.

hi we have booked to stay at pop in october, but i have booked a night in the hard rock hotel for one night, we will just take what we need for one night and then go back to pop the next day, i am sure this happens all the time we are just going to put the do not disturb sign on our door, susie

When we first started going to Florida we always "popped" over to the HRH for at least two nights in the middle of the holiday - however now we leave Disney and go and finish our holiday at the HRH....seems a bit of a waste paying for 2 rooms plus once you have used FOTL you won't won't to go back to the fastpasses!!!!
