People staying in a Disney Resort can have all their purchases sent directly to their room at no extra cost. But, if you are staying off-site, you still don't have to lug around your packages all day, or save all your shopping till the last minute. Ask the cashier clerk to have your purchases sent to package pick up (located near the entrance at each park). Then you can just pick them up on your way out of the park. We have found this service to be very convenient!

Isn't it the BEST...Used this service when DH buys out the Star Tours gift shop because he is a Star Wars nut and has to have one of everything. It saves us from lugging it all around the parks.

My only wish is that I would have found out about it before my first trip where I lugged around a HUGE Skippy plush doll from Alien Encounter all day:rolleyes:

Live and learn...Gotta love Disney:crazy:

Sometimes I do this even if I am staying on property. Unless I am leaving the park at a peak time it can be just as easy to pick it up on the way out as to remember to go pick it up at the resort the next day. And you get to have it right away and not wait a day!

We have used this for years, it is very convenient and they will send anything to the front gate, even as small as a jewelry item. You can specify at Epcot which gate to send it to either the front or to International Gate.

This can also be done at Universal Studios and at Islands of Adventure Parks.
