We will be staying offsite with the Military Salute 4 day passes with water park option. How do I link the tickets to My Disney App? My brother is buying tickets tomorrow and we will be visiting WDW in mid-May. I know I can't make FP selections until 30 days before arrival but am clueless about how to link everything together. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

You scan them. On your phone, click My Reservations, Link Tickets & Passes
Scan the barcode.

It may take a few tries for it to take. But this is what we did last year

My brother bought the tickets today. They have to be exchanged when activated at WDW I am assuming for the plastic cards with the RDF chip. We won't get the tickets until we arrive in Orlando in May. The tickets do have numbers on them. My 30 day window will be April 13th if going by the day we first check into our resort which is Windsor Hills. When I was considering staying on site and being able to book FP 60 days in advance I called Disney. The Disney cast member said something about using the number off of the back of the tickets. I was explaining my concerns with not having access to the tickets until arrival. How does Disney know when I am at my 30 day window if staying off site? I had to get the discounted tickets due to our budget and it was a great deal. I am now thoroughly confused about getting our FP. I don't want to arrive in Orlando mid May without fast passes.

I'm sorry but another dumb question. I have I-Phone 5 how do I scan the bar codes if the tickets have them on the back? I am not great with my phone except for the basic stuff, text, calls, GPS that's about it.

You don't have to scan the barcode, you can put the number on the back of the ticket in manually. Easy peasy. Disney has no idea when your 30 day window is if you're staying offsite, which is why you can make FP reservations 30 days out from any date as long as you have an unused ticket or an annual pass.

As soon as you link your ticket voucher numbers to your MDE account, go to the FP section of MDE. The FP calendar will show you a 30-day booking window. You can practice booking FPs before your booking date - just remember to cancel all FPs after your practice sessions.

I appreciate the help. I will get it figured out at least now I have a place to start.

Can your brother take a pic of the back of the tickets and email you so you can link them? I know when we were having trouble getting them by our 60 mark and we had to order them from Jacksonville they gave us the voucher number to link them. Once you link them since you are not staying on site when you go into the system you will have to have an idea of which parks you want which days. After going through the process if will ask for your selections but the dates will be grayed out before april 13th..and I believe you will have to go into the fp sytem each day (not 100 on that).. Once you exchange your vouchers you will get the RFID card as your tickets and they will scan at the mickeys in the FP line...

Thanks so much, my brother did take pictures and sent them to me in a text message.

Your 30 day window is when you determine based on actual planned park days.

So say your first park day is May 15, your 30 days window is 30 days prior to that.
