Staying off site this time, so I have questions.

We will be staying off site this time around. We are staying at the Parkway International Resort (close to Celebration). We will be going to Epcot for the wine, food and music festival. Any reviews on the accommodations? Any suggestions on great restaurants (not chains)? We love little mom and pop places. We know the Oktoberfest is in Orlando and Tampa Bay is going on as well, any reviews?

We have some of the best restaurants in the Orlando area in Celebration, and not chains. Our favorites are Columbia and the Town Tavern, D'Antonios is great too!
What are your dates that you will be here? There are alot of local events in October.

We are arriving on October 25th for a week. We see that there is an Oktoberfest in Orlando and Tampa. We are German Americans and enjoy a good Oktoberfest.

Oh man! The Oktoberfest in Celebration is the weekend before...it's lots of fun I never go into orlando so I do not know much about that one.

Just our luck to miss the Celebration Oktoberfest. still looking for ideas. It also looks like there is one in Tampa.
