Staying Off Property and Linking tickets

This may be a question too early for discussion, just because of how quickly things are changing.

We are going to Orlando for 21 days in December and staying in a condo in Windsor Hills. The day we arrive is the night before our condo is available so we are staying one night onsite. I have 10 day non-hopper tickets that I purchased from Undercover. My question is should I link them to MDE? With the one night stay, will I be able to make FP+ reservations and receive magic bands?

This isn't a ghost reservation as we will be actually staying OP for the one night.

We're staying one night on site before staying off site at Paradise Palms. I was able to link our Undercover Tourist tickets to our reservation and make FP + for the number of days of our ticket, not the number of nights staying on property. There's a little bit of a risk that Disney might close this loophole.
