Staying in Cocoa Beach and now second guessing....everything!

We have a trip coming up in 13 days. When I booked it, I used TripAdvisor and went with whatever sounded best, and had the best price. But now, I decided to go back and look, again, and some reviews are scaring me..

Where have you stayed in Cocoa Beach? We are currently at Best Western...my husband REALLLY wants ocean front. I just worry we will be giving up nice accommodations since the hotel is booked, usually, based on view.

BW also looks a little confusing - lobby across the street, breakfast somewhere else, room is ocean tower room, etc. Is it as confusing as I am making it out to be?

We were in Coco Beach on Sunday until Tuesday. We stayed at Hampton Inn and it was Ocean View. We were in 805 and it was very nice. Not Ocean Front. A short walk to the beach with direct access. It had a mineral pool and could use Courtyards pool and hot tub. Very nice but standard breakfast was included. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I did look at Best Western and saw it on the way to Hampton Inn. Glad I choose Hampton. It looked nice but Hampton was ideal for us.

If this is the best western near the cocoa beach pier, you will be fine. I stayed there a few years ago in an oceanfront room and it was nice.

I suggest Tuckaway Shores just a bit further south in Melbourne Beach. They have oceanview rooms, and they are RIGHT on the beach. Very affordable, very nice. It is NOT a resort. Just a nice, clean mom & pop type of hotel, but it is right on the beach. Look it up on Trip Advisor, they get great reviews.
