Hello everyone,

We are planning our very first Disney vacation ever! We are staying at Disney's beach club villas October 23 - October 29 2017, 7N\8D. We have secured a studio villa for our party of 5; 3 adults and 2 3 1\2 y/o. I was just curious if anyone had pictures of there recent stays in a studio room that they could share ,and if anyone else has stayed In a studio with 5 and how they felt about it. We chose a smaller room, so we can stay at a nicer resort, with better proximity to all Disney has to offer. We only really plan on being in the room for sleeping, showers and rests. Any information would be appreciated

Thanks!

Your challenge is going to be sleeping arrangement. The studio villa has one queen bed, a double sleeper sofa, and a Murphy bed. The Murphy bed is not really comfortable for most adults. So you are likely to either have an uncomfortable adult in the. Urdu, or the adult will share with a 3.5 year old in the double, and one of the twins will be in the Murphy.

When the sofa bed is folded out, there is very little space to walk around. The Murphy bed also being out makes it worse.

We just stayed in one this past November, it was gorgeous! I don't have pictures but they are on here somewhere. We stayed with 2 adults, 3 kids (7,5,2) and had plenty of space. We loved the proximity of the parks, very easy to come and go when we needed a break. I think you'll be very happy with your choice!

Thank you for your advice.we planned on having 1 of the kids sleep in the murphey bed( they're best friends not twins lol) and an adult share the sofa with the other kid.

True, being all unfolded takes up some space but its so easy to move it back once everyone is up. My 5 and 2 year old slept on opposite ends of the murphy a few nights so the 7 year old had the queen to herself. If the kids are used to sleeping together that may work as the murphy is about twin size and has a mural of Donald chilling at the beach. We have also taken sleeping bags for the kids and you wouldn't even have to fold down the murphy. We sleep wherever we fall and the tightness of the studios when all the beds are down doesn't bother us. Being so close to the magic is amazing especially with littles.

Thank you for your advice. That is reassuring to hear. Like I said we don't plan on being in the from too much, especially with it being our first visit. I just wanted to make sure there was some wiggle room there. How are the balconies?

2 years ago the balcony was small but we could see the Epcot fireworks partially with some trees obstructing the view about 30/70. This past trip it was bigger and we had a view of the DVC pool and nightly fireworks above the building with Hollywood Studios.
