Staying DVC through RCI

I am RCI member staying at SSR in June. Bought no tickets yet. Do you buy through DVC or fron Disney online. What about undercover tourist? Are there any disadvantages because I not DVC?

I would get your tickets from Undercover Tourist using the Mousesavers discount link.

I didn't understand your other question. Disadvantages about buying tickets (no) or did you mean something else?

You will be able to use Magical Express, get extra hours privileges at the parks, free parking at the parks and use of all transportation just as all guests get i.e. cash ressie, RCI and DVC. You will be paying a 95.00 fee upon check in that is RCI/DVC related fee. Have fun!

I always use UT for tix. They are running a buy 3 get one and also a buy 4 get one promotion right now for hoppers.

you would not qualify for DVC member perks like dining discounts and pool hopping. that's the only disadvantage...but it's not a big deal...

Yes that is true but as a DVC member those are "perks" I do not even use so I do not even consider them as a plus. But yes you are correct

DVC members staying on an exchange in get most of the perks but not all.
