Staying DVC and adding Dining Plan???

Here's my situation....see if you can help, please.

Going to be renting points and staying at a DVC resort for 5 nights. Only planning to go to the parks on 4 days, so purchasing 4 day hoppers. If I want to add the Dining Plan....

A) Am I able to do that while staying at a DVC resort?

B) If so, how would I book that? I plan on buying my tickets through Undercover Tourist.

C) Do I have to buy it for 5 days since I'm staying for 5 nights? Or can I buy it for 4 days to match my days in the park?

Yes.

You need to do it through the owner who made the reservation for you. You will have to pay for it at the time it is added to the reservation. It must be added to the reservation at least 48 hours prior to arrival. You cannot add it at check in.

There is no requirement to buy tickets to add the DP to a DVC reservation. You can buy your tickets anywhere you choose for any length

C) Do I have to buy it for 5 days since I'm staying for 5 nights? Or can I buy it for 4 days to match my days in the park?

Yes. You must buy it for every night of your stay and for everyone over the age of 3 listed on the reservation.

You would need to contact the DVC Member from whom you're renting. They will need to call to add the plan. The plan MUST be pre-paid at that time, and there are a few ways to handle it. A 3 way call to Member Services, send the DVC Member a Disney gift card in the amount of the DDP prior to adding the DPP, give the DVC Member your credit card info, etc.

If you are staying for 5 nights, the DDP would need to be for all 5 nights. Everyone in the room has to be on the plan for the entire length of the reservation.
