Staying BWV and paying for DDP...

We'll be checking into BWV on Feb 3 for a 3 night stay (ds's 9th birthday). I have the dining plan booked for our entire party.

Because a referred friend ended up buying, I got $200 Disney Dollars from DVC. Can I use them to pay (in part) for our dining plan? I know there has been some issue on whether Disney Visa rewards dollars can pay and other forms of Disney money, but what about DDs?

Just want to be prepared if I need to pay w/ my CC. If so, we'll either save it for another trip, or use it for spending money.

Sorry but I am wondering the same thing. I have some Disney dollars that I want to use for that. Anyone???

AFAIK, Disney Dollars are just like cash - you should be able to use them for pretty much anything Disney. I do not recall any restrictions using Disney Dollars (unlike the Disney gift cards).

You could call the resort directly to verify, but IIRC, you can exchange DD for cash at any Guest Relations booth and maybe other places as well. So that could be your "back up" plan. But I doubt you'll need to do that.

Excellent. Thanks for the responses. So now our 3 day dining for the 4 of us will only cost me $99.88 OOP. Not too shabby.
