Staying at the GC & MM

When one is staying at the GC and has the MM, what happens when you hop on the Monorail? Do they let you off in Tomorrowland the same time the park opens for MM? I really don't want to walk to the entrance of DL park from that distance...even though I know it's not that far. Just wondering how they work the guests staying at the immediate DLR properties??

I don't recall ever seeing the monorail running before offical park opening. It usually starts just a few minutes after opening. There is a gate at the entrance to DL used specifically for MM entrances only. I think you are going to have to walk to the front gates to enter early. If not, skip MM and ride the monorail in after official opening.

Actually the Monorail usually does run during MM hours, but sometimes it reaches TL when MM begins, sometimes it leaves the DTD station when MM begins. I haven't gotten a clear answer to that.

However...just to let you know it is a closer walk to the gates from the GCH than to the monorail station.

You know, I forgot the monorail just passes through the GC...not an actual stop.

Not to mention that they are having so many problems with the monorails that it doesn't reliably run on any regular schedule. If it's there and running, great, but I would have a plan B if I were you. It really isn't too far to walk from GGH and much quicker. Have a great time!
