Staying at the airport Hyatt

We're flying in late on Friday before our cruise so I just want to stay at the airport Hyatt. Any ideas on how to get the rate down. Right now I'm being quoted $160, since I need two rooms I'd like to get some sort of discount.

Is that for one room or for two? For two rooms, that's a good deal. We have payed between $79-$129 a night at the MCO Hyatt. Ususally it's $99. Try their website (link). Also try Expedia and Travelocity. See who gives you the best deal. If you're a AAA member, I think you can get a discount with that, too.

There are definitely less expensive options with hotels near MCO, but the Hyatt is the most convenient.

if you want to take a chance with Hotwire, you may get a great rate... look for the symbols... Hyatt won't have a shuttle symbol as they're right at the airport. I've seen $52 rates...

We booked the Hyatt for $124 for one night in January.

We stayed there 2 weeks ago and I had booked it for $83 a night from their website and it was an online special. It's worth any extra $$ though. We arrived at 1:00 am and it was so nice not to have to leave the airport and go somewhere else at that time of night.

Can't always go by this. I tried Hotwire in May booking what I thought was the Hyatt based on lack of shuttle symbol. What I got was Crowne Plaza which does have a shuttle. Hotwire can (and this case did) omit symbols of amenities available at the hotel in order to "fool" people. Otherwise everyone would know it's the Hyatt as most hotels do provide shuttles.

Thanks for the responses. I was able to get the rooms down to $144 including breakfast with a AAA discount. I've tried Hyatt'sweb-site and the rate is still $160. I guess I'll just keep checking their web-site for specials as well as expedia. I have long time to go, so hopefully I can get the cost down. If not, it's only for one night.
