Staying at POP! Which area is best to stay in?

I was going to get a preferred room, but would also like the quite lakeside room. Is that possible? I was looking at the map and it seemed that all preferred rooms face the classic hall.

No I had a preferred room my last visit and it was a King lakeview room in the 60's.. there were like 5 more rooms lakeview in that area that were also preferred.:goodvibes

I beg to differ - no preferred room faces the lake; the DISer who got such a room seems to have overpaid for that room.

The areas outlined in yellow on this http://www.willcad.org/maps/resorts/resort_pop_prefered.jpg map are the preferred room locations; so, it appears no preferred room faces the lake - but if you're in the sixties facing the pool you might have a very skewed view of the lake in the distance.

All of the buidings are within a 5 min walk from the main pool, food court and buses. The 60's buildings are a bit far from the parking lots though. It can be a bit noisy if you are in a room facing the pool.
