Staying at POP Oct 19-24th 2005

If anyone can let me know how travel to and from resorts and weather in this month can be would help. we are traveling to WDW for 1st time with 11 people ( 6 adults and 5 children) any tips to make our stay more enjoyable will be appreciated THANKS

October is a great month to visit WDW - temps are better, not as hot & humid as summer months. Bring a variety of clothes - shorts and Ts for the day, but a jacket or sweatshirt in case it cools down at night.

Many things are going on in Oct. - the Food & Wine Fest is great at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom (MK) has the Halloween party (MNSSHP). The F&W Fest is included in adm. to Epcot, but MNSSHP is a separate ticket and only a few nights per week during Oct.

Pop Century is a great place to stay - centrally located at WDW and the bus service to the parks is convenient.
