Staying at Poly & SBP Wedding

I just was curious to see what transport you ve used when staying at Poly to take you to your ceremony at SBP??

I ve got my heart set on having the Horse Landua carriage but have just read someones reply to a question i wrote in another thread which has made me concerned over whether i can have this due to the distance

Does anyone know the answer to this??

Also where are brides generally dropped off for SBP ceremonies? Am just not too sure if you ve got a bit of a walk or if they take you right up to the ceremony area

If you are staying at the Poly then I think you will need to use your limo to take you to the Boardwalk Resort and then you can either walk from there to SBP or I'm 99% sure the landau coach is allowed to take you there. The coach cant take you from the poly to boardwalk / sbp because of the distance I think, but double check with your planner incase I'm wrong. This is just based on what I've read on here over the past 3 years

Have had bit of a change of heart since i last chatted to you but am now panicking that i maybe making the wrong decision if it means not having the horse drawn carriage. This is a bit of a dream of mine so i would be devastated if this is nt possible. I def would nt want to use the limo as we ve planned to use that later on in the day. Im a massive animal person so would love some pics with the horses when arriving to the location. I could cry , oh please tell me someone has gone from Poly to this location by horse drawn carriage. Would this also apply to Cinderellas carriage??

I know what you mean about changing your mind about things, we're on our third contract and after discussions this weekend we'll probably be asking for another one this week

From what I can gather (but I might be wrong!) the horse and carriage (landau / cinderella) only travel around the the epcot resort area e.g. boardwalk resort, yacht club resort, beach club resort to the yacht wedding gazebo or SBP. Then I think you can use the carriages to take you from the GF to the wedding pavillion. I've never heard of anyone being able to take them from the Poly What about hiring a town car or adding an extra hour to the limo? That would take you from the Poly to the Boardwalk and then you could use the coach to take you from the Boardwalk Resort right to SBP and have your dream entrance & photos??

How about you arrive at the Beach Club or one of the other resorts and then arrive in the coach from one of the hotels? Then leave in the limo like we talked about on the email? I mean if the distance is too great for the horses from the Poly, this way at least you'd get it to arrive at the ceremony... just a thought

I have Cinderella's Carriage and I was going to stay and the Floridian. They told me that I have to get over the SBP somehow and then I can get in the carriage from there but the carriages cannot take you from the poly to the Boardwalk/SBP. Now I am using my free night to stay at the Boardwalk with the girls that way I don't have to get the limo just to take me to the Boardwalk because I will already be there!

transportation like the landeau coach, cindys coach, and the vintage car are just show transportation. this means that they don't really take you very far. you will need a limo to get to the boardwalk & then the landeau will take you to sbp
