Staying at one resort but have 2 ressies question???

We are staying at CSR and are flying in late on a Friday night. WE opted to use the AP code instead since we think paying for the rack rate for that night (even with free dining) isn't worth it. The next day we will have start a new 8 night package with the tickets and free dining. I plan on getting to the front desk early on Sat AM before we go to the parks to get keys and tickets but can they bump me since it technically is a new ressie or do they try to keep you in the same room? The CM at CRO put in that our ressies combine within the same resort - does that make a difference? Also on the flip side, if we are in no mans land which I believe we may be since we arrive at 8pm - can we ask the next to be moved starting the new ressie to the first available closer room, say a Cabanas room?

Mention when you check in that you have a continuing reservation. Then you shouldn't have to move.

I have two reservations for next week and they are connected somehow on their system so I won't have to change rooms.

I am surprised that you want to do the meal package with an AP. Am I correct that you have to pay for a base ticket for each person each day? When you crunched the numbers what did you come up with? Do you like to do lots of high end meals?

We had a package last year at the Poly and then one night with a general code. Continuing reservation was noted and they said they would do their best; however, we did have to move for our last night. Not sure how often that happens.

I am the only one who has an AP. I purchased it in May to get $500+ off of our Poly concierge room. My DH and dd have hopper tickets as do I - they used some on theirs the last trip and I didn't use mine since I had the new AP. I think we have like 3 days on 1, 4 on another and 3 on on dd's childs.

You can buy a 10 night package with free dining but only get a 1 day base ticket which I think cost $168 for the 3 of us. That in turn is worth it to us as you are only saving $40 a night on the room and we spend well over that on dining. I hate hamburgers hotdogs all the time and I like eating table service so this was a better plan.

We are paying $1869 taxes included for 9 nights, 10 days with 8 day hopper passes and free dining for 10 days - 2 adults 1 child at CSR. Since I have an AP I will save my 8 day hopper ticket since I will never start it, there is no expiration on it and I know I will be at Disney for years to come. I can also add it towards me AP if I decide to renew May of 2006 or use it for the next trip that I don't have an AP. DD and DH are using their 8 day tix while we are there and holding onto their other no expire hoppers from last year for our next trip.

Once I took a look at some of the restaurants like Le Cellier, our bill would come to approx $135 for 2 people Even with 20% of dinng card I felt we will get less hassle not worrying about money and more fun trying things we may not have ever had. We like eating in Epcot and those restaurants are expensive!!!
