Hey,
This board truly rocks! This is my family's 1st trip to Disney. Hubby & I went as kids & teens in the
70's-80's, but we're old folks now & want to take our girls (ages 4 & 9). Has anyone stayed at the All Star Movie resort? We're not overly fussy about our rooms. We're just happy to be able to get there. But I've not heard anyone mention the value resorts, except Pop Century & from the map, it looked like it was on the out-skirts of everything, so we didn't chose that one.
Is it too late for us... Is this a nice hotel? Or are the photos deceiving?
Help!

When my ds was younger , asmo was the ONLY resort he wanted to stay at.
He's grown alot... I'm smiling now, remembering all the great times we had there...

to the DIS boards, happy posting!

) One thing I thought I'd mention is that Movies is actually further out from the parks than Pop but I don't think it makes that much difference. You also may want to check into what is going on with room refurbishments - I've read that Movies and Sports are in the process of being done but I'm not sure where that stands. I don't think the rooms at Movies have ever been refurb'd before so I'm sure they were needing it. You can always request a recently re-done room. One other tip - I think the earlier you check in, the more likely you are to get your room requests. Hope this helps. Have a great trip.
