Staying at MCO Hyatt - Check your transportation!

First DCL cruise coming in December here. I am in the same situation, I purchased Hyatt separately but bought DCL transfers during booking.

I'm curious what stage will we get to see this particular ground transfer Pick-up location details? I don't have that (yet), is that because my cruise's online check-in is still pending approval?
You won't see it anywhere, except ultimately you will see that you have no assigned port arrival time (or an 11:00 arrival time regardless of what you might have selected). If you booked Hyatt separately, you will need to call DCL and tell them this and make sure your account shows transport from the HYATT. Some cast members will tell you it says airport and that's the same thing--it is not the same thing.

When we were checking in for the bus at the Hyatt, one family was told they weren't on the list for this exact reason--DCL had them as airport transfers. So they had to get their luggage and go downstairs. Not the end of the world, but it was unnecessary confusion and frustration for them.

For those worried about their bags, we air tag our luggage and it gives us great peace of mind.

Thank you for this post! I had the exact situation for our December Wish cruise and assumed I was good to go but also checked and realized we weren’t boarding group 3 with 11AM PAT. A quick email to DCL about transfers from the Hyatt at MCO and the boarding group/time was fixed which means we should be on the Hyatt list! Thanks!

We were in a similar situation-booked Hyatt ourselves, let our TA know, and paid for transportation to the port.

When we arrived at MCO, we weren't on their master list and the desk clerk gave me a number to DCL transportation. In the end, we did not take the Hyatt bus to the Port since our TA didn't communicate our name to Hyatt. Instead, we were directed to take the airport to port bus. We took our luggage down 1 flight of stairs (baggage claim level) where a DCL rep relieved us of them, then down another level to the old DME transport area for the airport-port bus check in, were on the first airport to port bus and checked in at the port easy peasy.

IF the TA had communicated our name to the Hyatt, then we would've received instructions about time to meet in the lobby, given luggage tags and told to leave our luggage in the room (ready by 8 am, I believe) and would've met downstairs in the hotel lobby and then been led to that bus loading area.

It was actually just as easy, if not easier, to do it the way we did and I'm super grateful there was a CM who answered the DCL Transportation phone at 6 pm on a Sunday to answered my slightly stressed out call :)

TL;DR all's well that end's well and you'll know when you check into the Hyatt if you're on that manifest.
