We love the cabins and will be returning in December. You will probably get more answers to your questions by posting this on the Camping Board. However, be sure to make time for the campfire and sing-a-long, the petting zoo, Trail's End, and the hayride. The campground is the best!

We LOVED the cabins!!!
We were in the 2500 or 2600 loop, whichever is right by the laundry/pool (very convenient). We were in ##14, and it still was only a very short walk to the bus stop (at the end of the street). You have to take 2 buses to go anywhere outside of Ft. Wilderness, but it was worth it to us, and we had 5 kids at the time!
Enjoy it...our family's too big to go back there! :(

We stayed in the Cabins in May of this year. Our kids were the same age as yours. We really liked it. We used the kitchen for breakfast and the full size fridge was great for freezing water bottles. A couple nights when the kids were exhausted we ordered in from Trails End. It was nice to have all the space and be able to get the kids to sleep before us. Its very quiet and you don't have to worry about your kids being too loud or noise from neighbors because of the space between the cabins.

The resort is HUGE, however. We rented a golf cart to get around and would recommend it if it is within your budget.

We didn't get to the campfire, but the kids loved the pony rides and Hoop Dee Doo. Have a great time!

Love, love, love the campground! Might be my favorite place at WDW. Such a great environment that allows you to relax and reminds you that you are on vacation. It is also so friendly- everyone waves and says hi.

Definitely take an evening to do the campfire and movie- this is such a vivid memory from my childhood.

And try to do the Hoop-do-doo- it's a great dinner and show!

My sons favorite part of our whole Disney vacation was renting the golf cart at FW. They really are great. The best advice I can give you is to drive to parks, etc. as the transportation takes a long time.

We loved it at FW!!!

Thanks So Much for all the Terrific Feedback !
It sounds perfect and wonderful, I am getting so excited. I am more thrilled about this trip then my girls I think !!
I am counting the days !princess: :wave2:

Hello,
We stayed in the cabins Jan2004, myself, dh, dd(3) and my mom. We had a great time. It was nice having the extra room and being able to eat breakfast in the cabin. If it's in your budget, I'd definitley rent a golf cart....we did, and I personally wouldn't stay there without one. The boat ride to MK is nice. I'd ask for a cabin in the 2600 loop, you are right near a pool, bus stop, and laundry facilities. You'll love it, don't forget to check out the petting zoo!
