Staying at Disney but would like to go to US?

I am not sure where I need to post this but I am hoping that someone can help me out! I am wanting to stay on site at Disney but I am wanting to go to Universal Studios for a day or two. We are planning on using Magical Express but I am not sure about the best way to get from Disney to Universal. Is there a shuttle that we might be able to arrange..or do we have to rent a car? Any advice would be helpful!

I just asked about this and was directed to the Transportation Board. There is a shuttle from your Disney resort. Here is a link for more info:

Just wanted to let you know when I read your title, I thought you were asking if anyone "wanted to go with us" ?

I rented a car, just seemed so much easier to me. I'll stay one day at Universal and 4 days at Disney, for m ethat was the best way

I rented a car for 24hrs. Called ahead a day before for the shuttle, it picked us up at AKL, took us to the WDW car rental station, we got our car and on our way we went. The next morning, drove to the WDW rental to drop off and were given a shuttle ride to the POLYNESIAN RESORT ( our choice). All in all not a big deal.

ps: if you go over 24hrs= more $$$
