Hi everyone,

I just booked a last minute vacation and we are leaving on 2/24. I booked through vacationupgrades.com (Ken Price) who has been fabulous. Does anyone know whether there are some grills you can use to cook? Also can you tell me where I might be able to find out what the activities are for the kids!! If you have anything else to add, it would be much appreciated!!

Thanks.

sorry I can't answer your questions but just want to wish you a wonderful trip!! I've always wanted to stay there!!

pnutallergymom, Wyndham usually has outdoor gas grills available for guests at their resorts, with picnic tables nearby. I've read at least one review about Bonnet Creek that mentioned gas barbeque grills so I believe they have them there. Usually, you have to ask the staff to light the grills for you but they maintain them and make sure they're clean.

As for activities, you simply must look at Wyndham's website and "explore resorts" to find the page for Bonnet Creek. You'll find links for the activities, amenities and resort map, all of which are available to you as a non-owner. Have a wonderful vacation there!!! It's an excellent resort. :)

Once you check in, they will give you a handout with the whole week's activities for kids and adults. I forgot to bring it back. We saw several people using the grills while we were there.

We stayed at BCR last August, and there were gas grills near the pool with the slide. There may be other locations that have grills, this was near our building and I didn't venture out anywhere else. The rooms are beautiful, you will love it. Have a fun time!!

We stayed there in Nov and loved it. For the kids they have 3 pools, a craft room with daily activities, one night they had a movie on the lawn. They also have all kinds of board games, etc to borrow. Karaoke, minigolf, playground, sand volleyball. They also serve ice cream a couple afternoons a week. They had many more activities than we were able to take part in. The 3 bedroom we had wasn't great, but sufficient. Their shuttle service to the parks is very convenient. Just be careful when returning at night - there were always more people waiting to come back than there was room on the shuttle. Some people can get pretty mean when trying to get on the bus. Some nights we just took a taxi back. It was only about $10 and then that way you don't waste time waiting for the bus. Be prepared for the mandatory sales pitch. Just say no but take the 50 disney bucks. I would stay there again in a second. Have a good time.

Sales pitch is only mandatory if you are staying on a special deal directly from Wyndham that requires it. If you rent from an owner, you can just say no.

We also rented from ken 1/22 - 2/1 We were there 10 days and never received a call about a time share presentation. The stay was flawless.

My family stayed there afrer our disney cruise in December. We also rented for Ken Price. He was wonderful. It's a very nice resort and they do have gas grills. They also have many activities for kids and adults throughout the day. Usually post in the lobby area. The only turn off was the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. I would definently stay here again.

When we were there we hearding nothing, and I mean nothing. Not a peep. I was surprised. I guess it is just luck of the draw who you have next to you. I was in building 2

We were there in December, and saw people using the grills near the activity building. We saw two guys who had huge platters full of the most wonderful smelling steaks. They must have been cooking for quite a crowd! :thumbsup2

We only heard voices from another room once, and that was for about 3 minutes right after a family came in (above us, I believe). It wasn't a big deal, and I was surprised by how quiet it was given that the SuperBowl was on while we were there.

We were there from Christmas Day to the end of the month, and we never heard anybody. We were in building 5 (one of the newer buildings), and it was very quiet for us too.
