I just used the transportation wizard to get travel times for our ADRs. Apparently, it's going to take us 50 minutes to get to WCC and then eating time and then 50 MORE minutes to get back to the resort. Being our last day, I hoped to spend some time at MK or the kids' favorite places before being picked up by ME (which will most likely be around 3:00). Our ADR for WCC is at 11:05, so we'd need to leave by 11 and won't get back until likely 2:00, right before ME. Should I change this ADR? Kids are almost 5 DD and DS is almost 2. We could just eat at the food court and save ourselves lots of time. Is there another <closer> TS we should switch to?
thanks so much! I appreciate any advice!

If you are going to be at the Mk then it shouldn't take you more than 20-25 minutes to get to the Wilderness Lodge- you should be able to grab a boat and go straight there.

Other TS in the Mk area at resorts are Grand Floridian Cafe and Kona Cafe- those are the ones open for lunch. Of course at the park you have Tony's and Liberty Tree Tavern as well as the character meal places.

I would say that if your meal lasts beyond 1:30 and you are expecting ME to be at 3pm I would just heqad straight back to the hotel- the fastest way from the Wilderness Lodge would be the boat/bus to MK and then the bus to ASmusic.

I will not take you any longer to get to the Wilderness Lodge for lunch than any other TS in the MK area out of the park- it is just a matter of how to travel.

If it is your last day and you need to be back to the hotel 3 hours prior to DME, then I don't think I would burn the time with WCC.

Once you leave MK and get to the launch, then you ,ay time it right nad there is a boat there, if not, you may wait 15-20 minutes for a boat. The the boat ride to WL. Then the walk up the restaurant. It will take you anywhere from 30-60 minutes to get to the restaurant once you decide to leave MK.

CS at MK might be your best bet for lunch. or a TS within MK. If you are on a DDP, then you may not want to keep a TS for the last day. Your group may be tired and rather hang at the pool for the day, someone may not be feeling well, well you get the idea

ANother option is to try to have the adr moved to 1:00. Leave MK at noon, head to WL, have lunch than grab a taxi back to your resort. SO much les stressful than wsaiting for a bus (stresses me out :scared1:)

Have a great time! :yay:

We leave in 13 days and I don't know if I can get any online. Also, we have the day before we leave open and would like to eat our last TS meal (if we decide to cancel WCC on last day) wherever we are and not have to worry about a reservation.

Is your 11:05 supposed to be breakfast or lunch?
I ask, because I have a 10:40 for breakfast and saw they had 11:05 my day open and really wuold like to do lunch - but called dining and they said lunch doesn't start till 11:30.

Another option... Cape may cafe for breakfast... is a real quick cab ride from the All Stars. We've enjoyed it our last day - then kids like to see the beach there and we take it easy and then back and hang at our resort before DME arrives.
I think heading out to WCC is out of the way for breakfast. Could always just do the food court and then swing over to one of the parks for some last minute rides or something before DME. I think WCC getting to and from and then the time to dine will be time consuming.
