Staying at AK after 5K?? Crowded??

After the Jingle Jungle 5K on November 9th, do you think most of those runners will be staying at AK for the day? I mean they are already there...it would be convenient. I am running and planning on staying there but I am starting to wonder if that would be a wise decision!
Thoughts?

I would actually think that most 5k runners head off, clean up and have breakfast. I am sure that there are a few who hang around, ant attend DAK. For some runners, it would be a 1:40 wait for park opening, for the last runners, maybe 30 minutes.

AK opens at 8:00 with EMH so there isn't that much of a wait.

EMH is usually on Monday for DAK. I have not checked the W&D weekend to see if a shift in the day occurred. Though, even if a shift in day has occurred, I would think that EMH on a race day would be cancelled to give CM time to make the park guest ready.

The morning EMH Park on Saturday, 11/9 (the day of the 5k) is DHS with an 8am open. AK opens at 8am the day before (on Friday, 11/8).

Opps! I was mistaken. OK so maybe it won't be extra crowded that day!

I was thinking the same thing, how many will stay at AK that day? Right now it just works out for us to be there that day. We will just have to tough thru it if its crowded. I cannot see us making it all day regardless after running. Its showing park hours of 9-7 that day. I expect to be out of there by 3pm for a nap if I can make Dd take a break!
