Staying at a resort with internal bus system during a race weekend

For example, if you are staying at Saratoga Springs.... Do internal busses work early during race weekends or do you need to find your way over to the main bus stop on foot?

The RunDisney buses typically stop at all the internal stops within the resort. There’s no need to go to a central stop to catch a bus. That’s been the case at CBR, CSR & POR, at least.

They do have the internal bus from the tree house villas running that early since runDisney buses don’t go there.

We stayed at SSR for the Princess a few years ago and the bus picked up at multiple locations. At other hotels (Poly, OKW, AKL-Kidani, BWV) there was a single pickup. Most convenient so far was Poly, because you could take the monorail to the race start and back, which is great because you avoid all the bus traffic both there and back.

This is good info - is it the same every race with transportation or are there nuances (I.e one huge stop at OKW...)? I was wanting a better price tag for the stay since I may travel solo or with a few running friends, so was looking at POR for instance, but if Poly means more sleep, that is a serious consideration.
