I JUST CAME BACK FROM A SHORT TRIP TO DISNEY...IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, SPIRIT AIR OUT OF ATLANTIC CITY RUNS SPECIALS ON AIR EVERY TUES/THURSDAY TO ORLANDO AND OTHER DESTINATIONS. I BOOKED AIR FOR $9 ONE WAY. IT CAME TO $37.00 ROUND TRIP. I stayed in a beautiful home in Grand Reserve(315)-rentalatdisneyarea.com, that was about 8 minutes to Disney. The owner has discounted specials from $220 a night to $142 a night. The home has 6 bedrooms 5 baths. We didn't use all of the bedrooms, but it was like having a regular house and just not using all of your bedrooms. The private pool was heated and she had baby furniture included. That saved us from renting a crib some other places. We found a rental car on hotwire.com for $15.00 a day. The trip was very inexpensive for the 6 of us and we're going to try and go every other month since the air is so inexpensive-only for a few days at a time. The season passes to Universal are the same as buying a one day/2park pass and you do not need a Florida ID to purchase. You can get them on line. There was a Publix food store a block away, so we ate breakfast at the home and had a combined lunch/dinner out. When we came back to the house, we had snacks. So you can go inexpensive, you just have to know the ins and outs.
