Hi I saw this hotel on travelocity and it had good reviews. Would love to hear from folks that have stayed there. It is close to downtown disney.

Thanks

We stayed there a few years ago when it was owned by someone else. We really enjoyed the location, the hotel, the breakfast, and the pool. You can walk right next door to the Winn Dixie and I think Pizza Hut (also a state liquor store). It worked out great for us to have 2 bedrooms with a 1.5 year old, my Mom, DH and me. It was nice to have a fridge, tv, vcr, little sitting area in the living room, and 2 bedroom suites with their own bathrooms. The b'fast was nice and saved time too. We got a great rate of like $99 too. We have since bought DVC, but if we hadn't, I would consider it again with dd #2 on the way.

I stayed here with a group of fellow Travel Agents last December. I really liked this property, you get a lot of space. We stayed in a 2 bedroom trio suite which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with sleeper sofa, 3 tv's, kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher and fridge (there is a laundry room onsite ). The pool is fairly small with a hottub however most people are out at the parks all day.

The free breakfast was ok and set you up for a day in the parks. There is also free drinks and snacks on certain days of the week which I thought was a nice touch. It is only a 5 minute drive to Downtown Disney and nice and close to the Disney parks. They offer a shuttle to Disney but I did not use this as I was with a group. You are also able to walk out to a variety of restaurants and Walgreens, Wynn Dixie etc which was very convenient.

I would rate the property as a good 3.5 star. It is not as luxurious as somewhere like Vistana resort, nor does it have such extensive facilities.

I book quite a few people into this property now and will be returning myself for another visit hopefully in October 2006. :earsboy:

Hope this helps

We stayed in Nov. 03.....2 bed 2 bath, kit, FR and it was $99 a night. The free breakfast was not good for us. No fresh fruit...always out of coffee..always dirty tables. Nice quiet pool area.... nice laundry area....close to Downtown Disney...nice price....nice room. As much as we did like it, we now have found the Vistana and prefer it much more. Easier and closer for us to get to the parks (less traffic lights) even though it's not more than a mile or two from Staybridge. We like the resort atmosphere and have been able to get prices in the $149 range. If you any questions, I'll answer them. We did like it and had no problems with the hotel at all. Would recommend it. Good luck!

We have stayed there 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. We reserve the 2 bedroom suites for our family of 8. They have a free continental breakfast and you have a little kitchenette to help save more money. It is very close to all the fun of Downtown Disney too! :goodvibes

Can anyone compare the size of the two BR Staybridge suite against the two BR at Nickelodeon Holiday Inn Family Suites. The sitting/livingroom are at the Nick Hotel was a little small.
