I get to be the voice of dissent! Stayed there last year and hated it.
The breakfast was hit-and-miss. Some mornings there was general confusion as to what the items actually were. I recall one particular morning there was a hotplate with small, round beige things. Most people were taking them and putting syrup on them - turned out they were mini omelettes.
The suite we were in was decorated nicely and was quite comfortable, but there was no cold water. Not even cool water. I could only get hot water out of any tap, including the cold water taps in the bathroom and kitchen. I let the "cold" water run for 10 minutes and it was still steaming. Ever try to brush your teeth with hot water? I eventually smartened up and left a pitcher of water in the fridge so there would be cold water.
The worst part was unfolding the sofa bed to find the blanket had a big patch of vomit on it. I called the front desk who said they'd take care of it - all they did was leave a new blanket on the floor in the hallway 45 minutes later.
If you plan to use their complimentary internet/computers, be sure to bring a towel. They have 2 computers available, and they're located just off the lobby close to the pool. Kids were constantly running from the pool to the computers to check emails (and play games online) and the cloth seats were always soaking wet. We did encounter one very pleasant youngster (maybe 17) who wrapped up his chatting so that we could use the computer. Most others would stay on them for more than an hour despite the sign requesting that usage be limited to 15 minutes.
When we checked in we dealt with the assistant manager himself. My mother and I were staying there, my DFi was driving us but was staying with family in the area. The assistmant manager kept insisting that the reservation for 2 people was wrong and there were actually 3 staying in the room. After explaining that no, only 2 of us were really staying there he still kept trying to find ways to get me to "admit" that 3 of us were staying in the room. He stretched out the checkin process as long as possible trying this. "And you'll need towels for 3?". No, there are only 2 of us. I don't appreciate being called a liar, either directly or by inference.
I did manage to get a refund for the first night there, after dealing with the regional manager. I still won't stay there again, and I don't recommend it to clients.
