Hello all!

any recent travelers stay here that care to review it for me? How about the free breakfast? If you did it, did you find it was ready early enough to get to a 9am ropedrop? what did you find was the fastest way (by your personal vehicle) to get from the hotel to the various parks? any suggestions for room locations? we have a 2 bedroom suite reserved for a few days in Sept.

Thanks for any comments, reviews, suggestions etc.

We have stayed there 8 times, got back yesterday from a 16 night trip !! We love it..very roomy, clean and CLOSE !!! Breakfast starts at 7am. You can get their shuttle to MK at 7:30. We drive...go right out to Apopka-Vineland, take a left and in less than a minute you see the gates to Hotel Blvd and DTD is right around the corner. Just follow the signs...VERY EASY !!!! If we could get our teenagers out of bed, we could easily make any RD. Farthest park is AK..about 20 minutes..the others are closer, but plan an hour for MK due to the tram, then monorail ( we always take the ferry..quicker once you get to the park ) Have fun !! We go back in December...the pool is heated and very clean !!

Is this the Staybridge Suites Lake Buena Vista you are talking about? We are checking in for our 1st stay there next Wednesday:goodvibes

Thanks Pattibehan, that is awesome to hear, you must really love it, now I am getting sooo excited for our stay, we have usually stayed onsite but I am so excited to be able to spread out, I have booked the 2 room trio with 2 bedrooms, am looking forward to not all being crammed into a small room. Trip advisor had nothing but good reviews about this hotel.

THANKS FOR THE INFO! We are also driving so I apprecate the driving directions.

We stayed there in May and really liked it. Two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchenette for $99/ night. :goodvibes The breakfast was very repetitive but pretty good. Eggs, waffles and a meat - either bacon, sausages or ham - and also some fruit, cereal, yogurt (??), coffee/ tea and juice. Also oatmeal in the waffle room. Not bad but you get kind of sick of powdered eggs or waffles every day.

We didn't take the Downtown Disney road to go to the parks - we took Route 4 and then the first exit towards the parks. It's much faster than waiting in all those stop lights towards Downtown Disney. Even Animal Kingdom was fast but our GPS took us directly to a cast member only road -ooops! My DD wanted to sleep in one day so she caught the bus to Epcot to meet us and said the bus stopped at several hotels and was completely packed. She also didn't like the long hike from the bus stop to the Epcot entrance, so she never stayed behind to sleep again!

Two other notes: There's an ice-cream place in the parking lot of grocery store right next to the hotel. AWESOME!!!!! Next: we had read great reviews of Giordano's in the plaza on the other side of the hotel. We ordered thin-crust pizza one night even though their specialty is thick crust. DON'T DO IT. The thin crust was a preformed cardboard-ey type thing with gobs of barely melted yellow cheese. Yuck. If I ever go there again (unlikely) I will try the thick crust pizza.

Have fun!

I never thought of going Route 4 to the parks, we will try that in December !! And I totally agree about the pizza place..our boys loved the Steak and Shake next door, and my DH and I loved Sweet Tomatoes at the Crossroads.

I LOVE this place - stayed there in December for trip and will be staying there again. I 2nd the using route 4 to the parks - WAY too many lights on the DTD road - it is much quicker to go route 4. The exits tell you which parks they are for...just follow the signs.

Loved the breakfast - tons and hot food - eggs, waffles, donuts, fruit, yogurt, cereal every day!!!

Stop and get the phone number and take out menu from Giordano's next door before you head to a park and call about 1/2 hour before you'll get there to order your dinner to go and just eat in your kitchen in the room. We did not get the pizza like a previous poster but got some pasta dishes and they were great - and big enough to share or have leftovers for the next day.
