Anybody stayed at the staybridge suites lake buena vista before? My family is going to Orlando at the end of July and as of right now we have a one bedroom suite at the Drury Inn. I saw staybridge suites has two bedroom suites and that would be great since there will be four adults and a two year old. So any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!!!

Stayed a few years back before the renovation in a 2 bedroom. It was great, loved the suite, kitchen, two baths & beds and the new renovation looks awesome. The staff was so nice and the breakfast buffet was so big and varied. I would stay again in minute!!

It has been over 10 years since we stayed there so while I can't speak to the current condition of the hotel, we did stay in a 2 bedroom with 4 adults and 2 kids under 3 and it was plenty of room for all of us for the week.

I remember the breakfast being good but crowded, the pool was nice but nothing special and the location is plenty close to Walt Disney property.

We've stayed on property since then but I would have had no problem staying there again.

We stayed there Feb 2012 and Feb 2013. The first time it was nice but the second time really impressed me after they finished the renovations. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the rooms are big and having 2 bathrooms to get ready helped us get out the door a lot faster in the morning.

I can't compare it to other Orlando hotels because it's the only place I've stayed offsite and while I prefer Disney hotels, it worked well for the larger group I was traveling with for the 2 trips I stayed there. It was a really short drive to DTD and the parks didn't seem too far away and if I was staying offsite with more than 2 or 3 people, I'd definitely look to stay there.

We LOVE Staybridge. We stayed in Dec 2011 before the renovations and September 2013 after. We also have 2 nights booked for next week. We love the size of the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suites. It's one of the cheapest hotels you can find for what you get. The pool is nice and the breakfast is decent...not the best but it's free! It is also a Disney Good Neighbor hotel so they sell tickets and have some shuttle service.

Just a note- there are no elevators so if you don't want to walk up stairs, request a first floor room when booking.

There's another thread floating around here for a friends and family discount that can be used at Staybridge. We have used it several times and always saves us money.

Look for diser, Rupert B Puppenstein on page 25. In her signature, it reads "Click for Friends and Family Link" It is great of Shelby to put this out there for us. You just click on the link and it directs you to their website and book through that. Only downside is no refund. The best deals around found 30-60 days out. I would keep checking but don't wait too long because you don't want to lose a room.
