I have not stayed there ,but have stayed at others that were very nice. I jogged by it a couple of times last Spring and it looked fine. I like that area to stay in!
Thanks Carol for the info, some times you just don't know by looking at their site, they can make it look really nice but when your there in person its aint the same.
Yep, we have stayed there 3 times. The 2-bedrooms suites are great! You get a ton of space (compared to a Disney resort) 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. Plus a free continental breakfast in the morning.
You are also right at the entrance to DownTown Disney, so you are probably 10-15 minutes tops from any of the Disney parks. All in all, we have found the Staybridge Suites a great place to stay when we want to save money and have a little more room.
Good to hear you liked the rooms, Maxiesmom. Did you ever use the ORLANDO MAGICARD for discounts on the room? I registered for the card and booked at the Staybridge Suites for a good discount. Saved more from this than even AAA or ARP.

Thanks for the tip! We have always just used our AAA card for the discount. We are looking at staying off-site for a few days in November. I will have to remember to get a card.
We stayed for the first time in September and pretty quickly rebooked for our next trip. Not the most luxurious accomodations but Staybridge has everything you're likely to need. (and what they don't have in room, they'll get for you if possible. i.e. a blender). GREAT location. Good Pool. Good Breakfast (FREE!-Yay!). We too used the magic card and later "joined" the Priority Club at Staybridge (also FREE!) which has some benefits like cookies waiting for you in the room, room upgrades when possible, early or late check-in's/check-out's when possible. I might be making some of that up but I encourage you to explore the Priority Club. Then be sure to call reservations and tell them to note your membership on your current reservation. Gotta get those cookies!
Quick question about the Staybridge Suites , do you access your room via an external stairs/enterance or is it an interior corridor type hotel where you enter via the lobby ?. thanks.
The entrances are external and I believe there are 3 floors. We didn't look for an elevator but I don't think there was any way up except walking up the stairs. From our one visit I think I remember the building enclosied the courtyard/pool area. Don't forget to join the Priority Club if you go and I think you may have some say in what floor your room is on....maybe.
