After numerous trips to FL, we need advice on a new hotel. Previously we've stayed at Nick for a couple of nights before a cruise. Being a family of 5, it is hard to be in a room with 2 queens and a rollaway, so we prefer a 2 bedroom suite and enjoy gathering points at any of the Staybrige/Sheraton/Residence Inn type places.

this year we are staying 4 nights pre-cruise, I don't think I can be at Nick any longer than 2 days :scared1: despite the great pools and close proximity to WDW..:) . With 2 teens, there are just so many small kids there.... any advice on either Staybridge, Sheraton Vistana or Residence Inn. All 3 have great reviews from trip advisor and my DH is anti-condo for distance to WDW reasons..

thanks so much!!!!

Stayed at the Sheraton years ago, so cannot give tips on which buildings to get. Check the specials via Mousesavers or AllStars for this place.

We have also stayed at both the RI LBV and SW; both very nice, clean, roomy. You get breakfast, internet access, even some snacks in the late afternoon/early evening (which we never did, in the parks the whole time). Pool is not fancy, but nice. FWIW.

If you want something with space that is very close to the Nick, you might want to consider Worldquest. It is about 2 minutes from the Nick along Continental Gateway and has a great pool area.

Thanks so much for the tips..we will check them out...:)

We've owned a week at Sheraton Vistana for about 10 years and absolutely love the place. They are in the process of doing major upgrades to most of the units (my understanding is they are doing it building by building so the rehab should not bother you). The location is perfect and facilities are excellent. The 2 bedroom Units are perfect for families...plenty of room, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, full kitchen, etc. :cool1:
