"Stay out of the damn lakes" and don't use some plastic water bottles

My family is going for an 8 day stay in a month and I need some advice. We are really trying to stay within our budget. Has anyone had any luck bringing snakes into the park and requesting ice water to put them in? If so, where do you purchase them in Orlando? It has been a real pain flying with them ever since that damn Snakes on a Plane movie.

Also, do they need refrigerated or can I just keep them at room temperature?

Shhhh, this is a big secret, but the contruction over by Mexico is the new Snake Water Tasting Bar. It will be the only bar at WDW that requires reservations and a credit card guarantee because it is expected to be MUCH more popular than the existing Tequila Bar.

Of course, that will give rise to "Is it appropriate to overindulge on snake water at Epcot?" threads with reports of all sorts of inappropriate snake water induced behavior.

I don't know about the water, but last year they did have snake wine neer the China pavilion I believe.

Yes, you can bring your own snakes into the parks, provided they are not in glass containers, unless of course the snake is for a baby (baby food/drinks in glass containers are allowed). I don't think the snakes need to be refrigerated, however some prefer them warmed, especially on a cool evening. Just don't try to bring your own microwave to use in your room. You'll have to heat your snakes in the microwave at the food court.

I've always had good luck bringing my big crock pot, and just leaving them cooking all day long in the resort room. Mousekeeping won't say a word IF you promise to give them a bowl of it when its done.

I have seen fewer and fewer snaketowels (towelsnakes?) lately. Seems too many people are taking them from the rooms and using them in their bottles of water. We all should know better. Towels do not belong in/near water.

On a lighter note, seems Pop Century is about to introduce tie-dyed lakesnakecheesecake!

Has anyone else seen the new snake lanyards with water bottle holders? They also serve as lake floatation devices... (just pull on the orange string and the life vest will inflate automatically.
