Stay for fireworks?

Sounds like you were able to see both Fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks the same night...Can I ask where you watched both from?

Sure! We went to Fantasmic and sat front row toward the right side (if you are looking at the stage). We got there about 6:40 for the 7 pm show. I think that we were able to get front row because it was about 60 degrees and we did get a little wet from the show. We had a great view. HS was jam packed that day, with 105 minute waits for TS and paths that were difficult to traverse due to the crowds, but the Fantasmic theater did not fill up until about 5 minutes before the show. There was still lots of seating on the sides at 6:45.

We saw fireworks on the right side of the Chinese theater (if you are looking at the Theater) near the front. Lots of folks crowded right in front of the stage, but we were off to the right and there was lots of room to stand and move around and to even sit, if we wanted to. No reason to sit in front of the stage since there is no stage show with these fireworks (yet, anyway). They did a good job of keeping walkways clear and marked, so we walked right up and there was lots of space. We stood next to a CM who answered some questions for us while we waited a few minutes for them to begin. The night we went, Fantasmic was at 7 and the fireworks were at 8.
