Stay Away From SCHOLASTIC if You Want Your Points!

I'm a member of CR, which I really like. They have a great turnaround time and super customer service.

Within three days time I signed up for two Scholastic offers through CR's sign-up offers. I never received my points and CR said it was because they never received their credit from Scholastic. 5,500 points ($20+)! How disappointing!! I contacted Scholastic to cancel my memberships and they asked why. I told them about my rewards program and Scholastic not giving CR their credit. Of course I was given the...It's not from our end, it must be from theirs. Scholastic is a very reputable company that's been in service 83 years, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, CR was very understanding about my upset. They did give me a courtesy 250 points and tucked an extra $5 Disney Dollars in my latest order. Not what I expected ($20+), but a nice surprise. Through it all CR was very helpful and understanding...wish I could say that about Scholastic!

Cr also told me it's much easier for them to "track" an order if you go through their Offer Portal. I've gotten so I immediately send them my confirmation for anything I do and I'm usually credited in a couple of hours.

I'm so glad I found out about CR through these boards. I've made $50 in less than two months. Not a lot but it will help out. I'm a SAH mom so it's nice to have a way to make a little money without leaving my child.

I have had problems with CR doing things through thier emails and portal and I won't shop through them again. I missed out on more than 1600 points because "they didn't get confirmation from" the merchant and refused to take my emails as confirmations. They said I did not click through, ummmm, why would I have done the offer if I hadn't seen it there? I know a lot of people here love them, but 3 times burned in the same week was enough to tell me they are not reputable.

So sorry to hear you've both had problems. Before I click on any link where I'll be getting points for sign-ups or purchases, I always clear my cookies. I've never had problems with RP crediting either.

I had a 1000 points not credited through CR. I think they have systemic site issues so I don't do anything but the trivia and website visits there anymore.

I'm so glad I didn't do it. I clicked through sunshine yesterday and looked at doing it but decided on the movie club instead. I would have been upset if I didn't get the rewards. Shame on Scholastic!
