I have enjoyed reading all of the info on this board. My husband and I are taking our two girls, ages 4 and 1, in Feb. 08 to Disney. I can't wait!

However, I am so confused on where to stay. I do like nicer hotels as I have travelled a lot on business and get used to nice places to sleep! I have narrowed it down to the Poly, AK or WL. Any opinions on which would be best with two little girls? I have been to Disney twice, but both times we stayed off-property...once having a terrible experience. So I want this to be memorable...at least for the 4 year old! I don't figure the 1 year old will remember anything.

The one year old will still be in a crib. The 4-year old thinks can't wait to see Cinderalla. So I'm trying to take all of that into consideration also.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your going to get a mixed review on this as everyone loves certain places for different reasons. For us we absolutely love the Poly.. With 2 small kids I'd say it would be a good choice just for the monorail convience itself. Also the pool is fantastic and not too deep really anywhere. Being able to see the fireworks from the beach is a great advantage also since if your little ones are tired you can watch them and then head directly back to your room without all the fuss. Resturants are also very good here and the 'Ohana character breakfast is also. My dd's love it....lots of fun. Also the size of the rooms is fantastic, even more so if your looking at putting a crib in one. IMO it's just a fantastic resort. You can't go wrong though with any of those you listed. They are all beautiful. Have fun deciding! :)

If you stay at the WL, ask to be the flag family. One day of your stay you will be allowed to raise the flags on top of the hotel. SUPER COOL! Our kids loved it and after all of that is done you are allowed to eat breakfast on the club level!! Not to mention Little Old Ranger Stan, he was too cute. (must have been about 80 but he climbed every step all the way to the top)

If you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom and/or Epcot more than either the Disney Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, then my vote would be the Polynesian out of the three choices. The parks can be overwhelming with two young children and the monorail and close proximity to the TTC (for Epcot) can't be beat. Enjoy!

I agree, all three would be great. But since you have a 4 yr old that is Cinderella focused I would go with either the Poly of WL.

How can you beat the anticipation of seeing the castle from the monorail or boat as you head towards the MK?

Not because I'm personally biased to the Poly. (I am), but with smaller children, we have found that being at the Poly or any other monorail line resort is the best bet. Even though our kids are older now, they still enjoy the Poly. (trained em right!)

I have stayed at all three resorts and would recommend the WL.

What a hard decision! :rotfl: The Poly is a great choice because of the monorail, like everyone has said. :thumbsup2 Also, the rooms are nice and the restaurants are good. My DH & I love Kona, and my kiddies love 'Ohana. I've stayed at the Poly, but never stayed at the WL or AKL, but have visited both. They are also just beautiful resorts--any of the 3 really will be great. The AKL is more "out of the way" so you might want to think about renting a car... :drive: I am a mom with a double stroller as well, and we usually rent one since we're always at the CBR. But we'll be at the Poly next year!!!!!!!! Can't wait!

Difficult choice - I have stayed at Poly and WL with tiny ones and they were both great. The one thing that I did find good about WL is that they also have a little paddling pool which was brilliant for when they were that young.

We have stayed at all three and the Poly having the monorail with little ones is probably best but when they get older (4-5) I would recommend WL 100%!
