I do think this person is a troll b/c he posted on another thread saying you mucst be brain dead to camp ....I think we need to someone to take care of mr. goofy109 :teeth: what do ya think? thanks Linda

Thank you to all the camper owners for sticking up for us tent campers. It's not always about money, but I'm sure there are some people that can not afford to stay at a resort. Last trip we camped in a tent for 11 nights, then moved to WL for 3 nights. Then we went Portifino Bay at Universal and stayed in a delux patio room at over three hundred a night.
To really experince our bueitful country you need to sleep in a tent. The best parts of our national parks can only be seen by hiking in the backcountry for a couple of days. So sad to think this guy will never experince such bueaty and wonder. :grouphug:

sorry... Doctors orders

I think OP is a closet camper wanna-be, trying the best way he knows to get to hear people's real reasons for camping. So to him I say....

It's ok, sweetie. Admit to your back-to-nature urges. Come on over and sample the wild side. And here are my reasons...

Restaurant food gets old. I love MY pillow. The kids have their "spots" and their stuff, so there are no claim-staking arguements that we get in a hotel. I don't wonder what kind of foot funggus has been "applied" to the floor by the last people. And you know, you get clean sheets, but blankets & bedspreads, uh, no. ewww

:rotfl2: :rotfl:  :cheer2:

Not to mention no bags to pack when it's time to go home - just close the door, hook up and leave, mess and all!

And the most important thing about camping, you get to meet the nicest people in the world!

And if the OP is an example of what I'll meet at another resort, no thanks, I'll stay at FW. :thumbsup2
