Stay after checkout?

On the day you check out of your resort, are you allowed to stay and use the pool? Other non-disney resorts I have stayed at let you, but I have always left my Disney resort at check out time so I never asked. Thanks

yes you can stay at the resort and the luggage will be stored for you until you wish to leave. Some of the resorts have places for you to shower and change before you leave for airport or your trip home.

yea we got a late check out and we went to downtown disney then we came back and hung around the resort till it was time to go....we hate to say good bye...

Since we have length of stay passes, we check out go to MK one last time and then return to the resort change etc and wait for our ride to go home.

Thanks for the replies. Did you request a late checkout? If so, does that mean you could stay in your room longer? We have a 8am PS at AK and are staying at AKL so we wanted to go back to the hotel around noon and hang out for a while.

We requested late check-out at the BC last May. They told us we could request a 1 PM check-out but they only allowed so many. We had to check back a day or so before we left to see if it was approved. They said you could stay until 3 PM and pay 1/2 of the room rate. Anything after 3 PM would be a full day charge!

when we checked in at pop century i told them we wanted a late check out and she checked right then for us and said ok..you can have it..maybe each resort is different....
