Status of Remodeling at Movies

I am scheduled to stay in a preferred room at Movies the last week of June. Any thoughts on what I should expect? Are the pools and food court being remodeled?

I believe just the rooms are being refurbished. There was some talk awhile back that the toy story section had been started on but I haven’t heard much since.

Just rooms at this point.

Started last week of March. Going by POP schedule they may have some rooms done in June but as we found with POP, that doesn't mean they will open them. Sometimes they wait for a full wing or full building to be done.

Positive is Movies buildings are smaller than POP. Fingers crossed.

Thanks! A "new" room would be great, I was concerned with the work being done interfering with use of the pool or food court but it doesn't sound like it will be a problem.

No interference to swim, eat, shop and bus. And unless the rooms being done are near yours or a pool, you might not even know it is going on. Since they are gutting they are making lots of noise at some point, but you would need to be in an adjacent building to hear it.

Well if you get Toy Story, you will likely be right across from the renovations. Maybe you can wander and then report back here how far along the rooms look. Even with curtains hanging, they will often be way off from opening but it gives folks an idea of how much is at the final stages.
