We are going on the 7 night eastern cruise Jan 22-29. Right now we have a Cat 11 for my husband and I and a Cat 6 for my mom and my 3 three year old daughter. Has anyone made there reservations like this with the rooms right across the hall from each other??? How small are the Cat 11 rooms? Are they comfortable enough for 2 people? We will also have my mom and daughter's room to use the deck, etc.....

Any feedback would be apprieicated.

Thanks!

A category 11 room is fine for two people. I think 4 would get kind of cozy, but for two people, there should be no problems. A lot of people go this route when they need two rooms but don't want to pay for two of the more expensive ones. You'll have access to the verandah across the hall. I suspect that you'll really only use your room to change and sleep.

A cat 11 is minimally smaller than a 6. The biggest difference is that the 11 has a single bath, the 6 has the double bath (one room has tub/shower and sink, the other toilet and sink). The biggest difference is that the verandah on the 6 is included when they post the square footage.

We've done an 11 several times with 2 people--plenty big enough. You don't hang out in the room anyhow! It is for changing and sleeping. When you have a balcony, it is nice to eat breakfast there and enjoy.....

Category 11 rooms are fine for 2 adults...no more! It is especially nice that you will have access to a category 6 room with a veranda right across the hall.
