Cruising next April for the first time. We are Cat. 9. Are all of these rooms basically the same or is there a particular room number I should request? 2 adults, 2 children(6,9)

my favorite cat 9's are aft, starboard, near the elevator .....

2614, 2612, 2618, 2620, 2108

port side I like:

2114, 2112, 2118, 2120, 2108

I am booked in Room 2108 on the Magic Aug 13 - 20, 2005 out of California. I was curious if this will fit four comfortably. I have two children (both 11) and myself and husband.

We were in 2014 and loved it. Plenty of room in my opinion. All the suitcases fit under the bed and never felt cramped.

cat 9 staterooms will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children very comfortably

We loved 2108 for our first cruise in 2002. So I concur with alexandrew. I really like most of that whole floor. You will find it nice and quiet and not so busy. The cabins are designed well with the split bath and plenty of storage space. Have fun :earsgirl:

We have two in the 2600 area (2626 and 2628) for the Ca cruise next spring...one is listed as one of the "noisy" rooms and one is not...any ideas on why????
(we've NEVER cruised before, so need ALL the help I can get!)::MickeyMo

THANKS
Chris

With respect to Dave, whose website I frequent and enjoy, I do not think there is a strong enough basis for some of the deck 2 staterooms to be listed as "noisy"....

As a general rule, staterooms under clubs where loud music is played tend to be noisiest....we were in 2520 on one of our early cruises (before I knew any better) , and it was just horribly noisy at night....
