Stateroom doors are metal - right?

Just a quick question - are the stateroom doors on the Magic metal? In other words, will magnetic items stick to them?

Zitofamily, just a heads up-there have been times when magnetic decorations were stolen from cabin doors.
I'm not sure what you have in mind, exactly. But there is a DISer who posts here and her commerative magnet was taken.

Oh, how sad! What a shame to have to worry about something being stolen off a door. I must be naive but I would never have even thought of that. I'm not hanging anything expensive or valuable. Just a little 10th Anniversary decoration. Thanks for the heads up though!

I also had a favorite magnet "taken" from my cabin door. Luckily it was not expensive, but it did have some sentimental value. Now I hang things that I don't really care if they get taken or not. It has only happened once out of 9 DCL cruises...so there are tons of honest people out there!!!

A word of warning with the stateroom doors, though..(as silly as this is)...if you have your verandah door open and you try to open/close your stateroom door, it will slam shut on you very, very quickly. Just wanted to give you a heads up, as little fingers that are in the doorway make get seriously hurt!
