Was wondering if anyone had stayed in the category 10 staterooms on Deck 7, particularly 7009? Any comment?

I can't comment on the room itself, but we were in 7010 and loved the location. Out party consisted of me, DH and 2 teen boys. The room was in a quiet location, and very close to the stairs. The adult pool (where I spent a lot of my time :D ) was just a few floors up for me, and so was the basketball court which was perfect for my boys. If you have little ones it might not be as convenient. I would not hesitate to book this location again.

We were in 7009 on our first cruise and absolutely hated the room. It is next to the host/hostess room and early and I mean early in the morning we could hear their carts clunking in and out. I would NEVER stay in that room again. By the way, it is a catagory 11 not 10.

I will agree that 7010 is a fantastic location. Not too much traffic but there is the host room across the hall, which would be right next door to the linen closet & storage area. The last night was the only time we heard anything since they were collecting luggage but we didn't stay away long even with the noise. We had a 3 & 5 yo at the time & loved the location so much that we booked 7503 on the other side of the ship for our upcoming cruise.

We did notice the host room and said "uh oh!" when we saw it, but it never bothered us once the entire trip. I guess it would be different it it was right next door!

We stayed in 7509 back in 8/2003. We heard so much noise as the closet was right across from us. I would stay in that area again but not in that room. DD was sick from her asthma so we were in the room a lot and heard the noise through out the day. Gail

I've stayed in 7005 and it was great. But it was between 2 staterooms, not next to a workroom. The location is very convenient for Deck 9, as well as the entertainment area (it's just down several flights of stairs). If you're not a light sleeper, maybe the noise wouldn't bother you? Or do you have a white noise machine that could drown out some of it?

Good luck.
