stater set(s) 4 kids in april 2005

ok, i have never been to disney, and am taking my "madian" trip in april 2005. i will have my 2 kiddies (then 9 and 5) and my dil's kiddies (then 8 and 4).

like i said, i've never been to disney and have never heard of pin trading. i think that this will be a blast for the kids (and myself).

how does one get started? i'd like to make christmas gifts of pins to get them ready. any good suggestions to get started?

If you want to get started in advance, you can go a few things.

First of all, you'll need a lanyard for each kid.
You can purchase these, I've heard, at Walmart, very inexpensively. Or you can buy the mesh by the yard and use fabric glue and velcro and make them yourself. I believe the Disney Store online sometimes sells lanyards. And you can also check the <i>Disney Deals</i> section of Disney Auctions for clearance lanyards.

You can wait to buy pins at WDW, or you can buy some in advance from a couple of sources. Again, the Disney Store online and the <i>Disney Deals</i> section of Disney Auctions are possibilities. You can also search eBay for people who are selling "lots" of Disney pins.

Make sure the auction description states that all pins have Disney copyright, and are metal.
